Atieno Odenyo is a film producer & international development consultant.
 
She has produced Score for Sasja; a short documentary on a girls' soccer initiative in Korogocho, a Nairobi slum, which was nominated for a Kalasha Award in 2010. Her most recent projects include directing/producing NusuNusu,  ( a full length documentary on mixed race Kenyans; co-directing/producing) and Kenya at 50  (reflections on Kenya's 50 year's of independence). 
She is also producing  Director Philippa Ndisi-Hermann's feature fiction film "Two Princes", short fiction film "Waxing Girl and the Ocean" and documentary "The Donkey that Carried the Cloud on its Back" (on the impact of the Lamu Port construction); She is also working on developing Kenya's first crowd funding web platform for film, music and art (2013).
 
She sits on the Board of YoleAfrica, that hosts the NYAVU youth artist network and organizes the Salaam Kivu Film Festival (SKIFF) in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo.
 
She moves easily between cultures, countries and continents, living, laughing and learning - trying to push the boundaries of what is possible. She is passionate about encouraging, brokering, leading social justice and change through the arts, music, film, sports and other creative and thoughtful ways.
