Kenyan Filmmaker.
Michelle MBOYA from Yale University with a double degree in film and Economics. She is passionate about telling stories about unheard voices, particularly for and about women. She is from Nairobi and THE CARMEL'S BACK (2017, short) is her directorial debut, awarded by the Short Fiction Prize (EAST AFRICAN COMPETITION).
