Mtandao wa Sanaa Kenya
A professional contemporary dance company founded by dancer(webber)/choreographer Kebaya Moturi.
In the same year UKENIA was funded for a community out-reach project by the Kenya Community Development Foundation (KCDF) otherwise known as CHANGAMOTO, to facilitate the creations of the pieces (Tafuta and Chuka) for the program.
UKENIA has offered training for free to dancers since 2005 as part of the three year "Shakers" training project and 6 of the trainees now work on freelance basis, while others have formed their own companies.
