The Kenya International Film Festival Trust wishes to notify the film makers worldwide that the last date of entries for this year's film festival will be Saturday 30th July 2011.

The 6th edition of the film festival is due to be held in Nairobi from 21st to 31st October 2011. The theme of this year's edition is "Leadership-the next generation"

There will be screening venues in Mombasa and Kisumu and for the first time the festival will also take place in venues in Eldoret and Nakuru in Kenya.

The ten day film bonanza has already attracted a record 250 films from 30 countries. This year it is expected that a total of 365 films from over 50 countries will be exhibited.

The Kenya international Film Festival commonly known as KIFF is an event that celebrates the achievements of film makers worldwide. It recognizes exemplary performance and successes of the film sector. It aims to encourage innovation, creativity and intellectual interaction among film lovers, producers, critics across the globe.
It also applauds creative, dedicated and innovative film teams and their achievements.
