About
The aim of the workshop is to explore possibilities of developing printmaking as an art form with the long-term objective of advancing on inroads made in printmaking, so far having held similar workshops in 2000 and 2002.
It will also be on the initiative of diversifying the focal points of Kenyan art to include appreciation and awareness of prints and printmaking.

Targeted Group:
Eight to ten practicing professional artists. This may also include art students and polytechnic graduates with a coherent body of work wishing to pursue printmaking as part of their artistic practice.
Objectives:
• Initiate and develop platforms for collaborative possibilities with artists and people working in other genres.
• Develop, motivate, inspire and widen the artists' creative and ideological horizons.
• Create a stronger identity for print makers and printmaking by initiating interactive projects that shall impact positively for the local art scene and artists in general.
• Broaden the experience of the artists and audiences beyond the limitation of painting and sculpture.
