The project Voice(s) started as intercultural project between Shootback based in Komarock, Nairobi and GLEN, organization from Europe.

During the workshop each participant prepared a series of photographs showing his own way of seeing the world, according to universal values and concepts. The project puts together visual and verbal language searching for interesting connections and ability to express ones own values. Voice(s) want to create a space in which each participant of the conversation can speak out loud with his/her own voice. It is based on asking questions and reflecting critically on cultural universal – the once that exist all around the world. It's not only the dialog between participants but as well betwen words and images. The photographs are intimate expressions of youngsters starting with self-portraiture as a tool for self-analysis, going through photography concentrated on the process of change or expression of time. Young artists use the medium of photography to express themselves and their life view, to raise their voice to spread their message. The exhibition will travel to Europe, where local youngsters will take part in the process of workshop and analyze the reality they live in – to bring our worlds closer, to show that we share the same world, the same one planet.
