About the artists
Idd Aziz

Kenyan born Idd Aziz is completely dedicated to becoming one of the most empowered and awakened male vocalists possible.

His passion for music begun at the early age of 13 and followed with a tour of the world at the age of 15! Inspired by his father, Idd Aziz has been placed on this planet to inspire positive change and awakening through his music and performances. His musical style is reminiscent of Lokua Kanza ,Youssou N'Dour and Ismael Lo all rolled into one.

Idd Aziz's combination of the expressive, compassionate and the soulful creates a unique sound for the musical market worldwide.
His passionate, cultural music has influenced great diversity in his vocal style. His vocals come from a deep place within his heart and can be felt clearly by any listener. His style combines world sounds with deep African roots into a form of Afro-fusion music.

Gregg Tendwa

GreggTendwa is a multimedia artist projecting social reality through music, photography, fashion, food, stories and games. He is the Creative Director at WiBO Culture, an enterprise creating authentic experiences.

His journey in music started out at 13 where he was a percussionist for the church choir. Later in life, he developed a keen interest in music production, djing and remixing. As a result, he inspired Santuri Safari, a platform for experimentation, learning and expression for musicians, DJs, curators, and audio engineers within the East African music scene.

His direction of music can be described as mainly Afrolectic with an element of experimentation with the diversity of percussion instruments from Africa. His sets are largely full of afrogoodness ranging from Afrohouse to Afrofunk to Aropop to Afrojazz.

GreggTendwa is currently working with various artists to discover, rework, and publish Bengatronic, the future sound of Benga. Through this project, he seeks to identify and nurture a genre that defines the intersection between Benga and Electronic Music.
