Said Abdalla aka Lulu played his very first concert at Goethe-Institut Kenya in 2007, in the framework of our concert series Muziki wa Kenya. Now he is back – with a new album, new sound and new band! Lulu, a professional percussionist, rhythmic guitarist, and lead singer, gained  international recognition at an early age for playing Kibende music. Since then he created his own unique style of Afro-classical music. You are most welcome to celebrate a great evening packed with a diverse fusion of music – African Classical, Lingala, Rumba, Caribbean, Reggae, Rock, Mbalak, Kwaito, and Benga.

Supported by the Zakaleo Band, Lulu will present his latest album Thembassa.
