Together with Africa Yoga Project, the people of Lamu organize this festival to empower, strengthen and give community support by encouraging harmony in mind and body through the practice of yoga.

Lamu, with its tropical climate, excellent variety in accommodation, miles of empty beaches and no cars, makes an ideal destination to leave behind the stresses of a fast paced modern life. A variety of yoga classes will be available in Shella, Lamu and Manda, on the beach, and different venues. Other highlights will include a dhow race, workshops, fun competitions, and a grand finale full moon beach party with Lamu drummers and acrobats.
