Househelps are the mothers who hold children when the parents are not around. They are the friends who spend even more time with children than some parents do. They teach, educate and even correct where necessary. This is all done with love and care in the absence of a blood relation.

However, some parents place their entire roles and responsibility on Househelps. This has not always turned out well and cases of mistreatment have been reported in the past. This has caused many to become house parents!

How do you choose a househelp?
Do we need to set up 'Nanny Cameras' to track them each day?
What if they learn this and start switching the tapes or messing up with the cameras? Can we ever rest assured that our children are safe? Are the alternatives to house helps even there and do they work?

This is a sensitive topic that many are talking about especially after what we have seen on media. This could happen to anyone out there… This week at #FatumasVoice we would like to hear your view this and how we can prevent it from occurring.
