Visceral is a Conceptual Art Exhibition by Mwini Mutuku that explores emotions and the mind through Mirrors.

Mwini engages the viewer on the internal journey of bipolarism through the use of mirrors and minimalist techniques. The result is a series of artworks that are both explosive and pensive, radiant and stark.

Viewers experience reflection after reflection in the exhibition, with opportunities to visit the worlds of thought, emotion and emptiness in themselves and in relation to others. Reflections, cut, diced and chopped, offer mirrors into alternative realities that equally attract and repel.

The exhibition functions as both an installation for a full visceral experience by the viewer, and as a series of individual artworks to contemplate and connect with. In addition to mirrors, Mwini works with vinyl and multimedia video installations to embed the viewer in a disorienting but seductive environment.

All artworks are for sale.
