Martina Malacrida, 34 years old (in 2012), a graduate in the history and aesthetics of film and a journalist, has had a long-standing working relationship with the Locarno International Film Festival.
Martina Malacrida is Head of Open Doors at the Locarno International Film Festival, since 2010 as new manager. Organised with support from the Swiss Foreign Ministry's Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the aim of the Open Doors is to assist the directors and producers of the projects selected to find co-production partners, particularly in Europe, and to be able to make their films.
