M'appelle Mohamed Ali (My name is Mohamed Ali) is a one man show by the Burkinabé actor, Etienne Minoungou, who happens to bear a strong physical resemblance to the legendary Mohamed Ali.

The play recounts the life of the brilliant and provocative heavywieight champion, Mohamed Ali.

It follows his story from his most important wins, to being banned and stripped of his title and sentenced to five years' imprisonment in early 1967 for refusing the Vietnam draft ("I ain't got no quarrel with the Viet Cong – they never called me nigger"), to the 'rumble in the jungle' when he reclaimed his world title in 1974.
